Sunny Shark: a team dedicated to the energy optimisation of public swimming pools and aquatic centres
The Sunny Shark team consists of 10 experts dedicated to the energy optimisation of public and collective swimming pools.
From the initial idea in 2011 to the present day, the team has grown to include all the skills required to create the solution Smart Pooling.
Thanks to a active and anticipatory steeringSmart Pooling® saves up to 30% of energy costs in public pools. In addition, the analyses carried out as part of its operation help to prioritise certain renovation worksThis is done by correcting the most significant defects (glazing, wall blowing, etc.) or by targeting critical technical equipment, without necessarily embarking on a costly overall renovation.
The return on investment is under 3 years. In some cases, it is even less than a year, as you can see in our case studies.

Our mission: to do our utmost to meet the needs of our customers.
to the needs of public and collective swimming pools:

Smart Pooling® helps you to comply with the tertiary sector decree, which sets targets for improving the energy performance of the tertiary sector by 2030, 2040 and 2050.
Our story: from the initial idea to the first results
The initial idea emerged in 2011 from the observation that traditional pool water heating control was simplistic and inefficient.
After two years of in-depth research, a market study and initial tests on a pilot basin, the project was supported by the NEXA Agency (Regional Agency for Development, Investment and Innovation), and then incubated from 2014 to 2015 at the Technopole de la Réunion.
During this incubation period, a second pilot installation was set up on the heating system of the Vue-Belle water sports centre, in the upper part of the commune of St Paul, and subsequently completed at other sites.
Following promising initial results and market prospects, SAS Sunny Shark was created in March 2017 by its co-founders.
